O.C.S.C’s Archery Club has something for everyone, and for everyone of all ages. Our club boasts one of the largest un-obstructed indoor archery range houses in Michigan. As well as extensive outdoor ranges for 3D, Field and Hunter, FITA Targets, and Broadhead Leagues.

The Winter Archery Leagues are over for the year and we are now looking forward to the Winter Banquet and the Outdoor Summer Leagues starting! The Winter Banquet is scheduled for April 13th at the Main Club with doors open at 5:00pm and dinner at 6:00pm.
The first outdoor 3D fun shoot of the year will take place on April 14th, starting at 9:00am and running until 1:00pm. At 1:00pm we will start a 3D money shoot with 20 3D targets that will run until 5:00pm. We will use ASA scoring for the money shoot.
On April 27th we will be holding an outdoor Flashlight Zombie Shoot. We will have a bonfire and food and drink available. The shoot will start at dusk or approximately 7:30pm. It was a fun time last year until the weather cut it short so let’s hope for better weather this year!
Outdoor Leagues start as follows below. Outdoor leagues runs for 12 weeks. Youth Instructional runs for 5 weeks.
We tried again this year to have evening workbees to accommodate our members that are unable to make the morning workbees, and that expressed an interest in accumulating some work hours, however after several weeks they were cancelled due to lack of participation. We still have many projects around the club if you are interested, we can find projects that fit your timeframe.
On an exciting note, we have some new swag available! Archery hats, shirts, and sweatshirts in many different styles and colors. The hats and many of the shirts will have embroidered logos. We will also have some shirts with heat pressed logos. All will be available to order and pay for online, then pick up locally. Come join us at the monthly Archery Club Meeting. The meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month in the Archery Club Building starting at 7:00pm.

In closing this month’s article, I am announcing that effective at the Winter Banquet I will be stepping down as Archery Club President. I have immensely enjoyed this position for the last number of years, however sometimes personal issues get in the way! I have had the chance to meet and work with many wonderful people and I assure you the person taking over this position will do a fantastic job!

We are proud to be a family oriented club that truly has something for everyone of all ages and abilities.
We have a beautiful clubhouse with a large indoor range as well as acres of outdoor ranges located on beautiful rolling, wooded, and open field terrain.
We have a great variety of leagues ongoing year round. We also host a variety of events, 3D shoot both indoors and outdoors and tournaments. Remember you do not need to be a member to shoot in any of the leagues or other events. You are always welcome to shoot as a guest.
As a member you have access to the indoor range 24 / 7 and the outdoor ranges during daylight hours. Just remember to check first for any range closings and to sign in to use the ranges.
If you have a special event you would like to schedule, such as corporate team building day, scout instructional or fun shoot, see one of the archery club representatives to arrange. We can even provide equipment and instruction.
Archery Club meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month. All club members are welcome to attend and get involved.

Come out and shoot as a guest of our leagues on any scheduled league day! Just check-in with our league secretary and pay the league fee and enjoy the challenge.
